A new chapter
Ok, I am officially unemployed for now. Its true since I only start the new job on Monday :D
Bade farewell today and it was certainly with a mixed array of emotions. To those whom I am close to at work, I had no goodbyes to say because I know I will still continue to keep in touch with them. To those otherwise, well I only had polite 'fare-thee-well's to render.
And it was heartwarming when I received phone calls and emails of appreciation from the folks I work with in the Europe region. Funny how though we may never met, the uncanny connection and rapport still exist. To the ones who are fond of calling me ever so often for work related issues, they expressed their shock and sadness that I'm leaving. They thanked me for the support and assistance these while; and said this was a great loss to them. A huge part of me felt thrilled and comforted that my quality of work is recognised and appreciated.
It was overwhelming... those 'pats' on the shoulder!
Emotions stacked aside, I'm going to enjoy this long weekend before the new work kicks in on Monday! And yes, in the bright early morning as Fang is always ever quick to remind me! :D
