Rainy Sunday makes me tired
.. but hanging out with people today energise me, in a sorta uncommon way..
Its a tiring tiring day for me with all the mad traffic rush. Sure didn't help a single bit that it was pouring all day and roads were slippery & wet!
Argh.
I left the house early so I won't be late for my appointment and wasa little majorly peeved that the bus didn't come despite an agonising 45 mins wait. And when the cab came, my feet were soaking wet from the rain. And going to town on a Sunday and on a raining one really sucks. The traffic jam was nasty.
I got fed up of waiting in the jam and paying unneccesary cab fare, so I alighted and walked a good 5 mins in the pouring rain! Was shivering cold while walking.
Felt bad that KK had to wait for me and I wasn't exactly in the best mood, being cold and hungry. But I energised up after eating and we had a really good conversation. Its just amazing how much we can talk.. :)
After that, I ran off to Clarke Quay to meet my uni mates. One of them is visiting from Sydney and it was lovely to see her after two years. We had drinks and cakes and caught up with each other's lives. Just chilling out. Nice.
On a totally different note, I bought a new CD by Nouvelle Vague and I love it! Very chill out kinda music, I like :)
