Food glorious food
I finished the second book of the chronicles of narnia today "The Lion, the witch and the Wardrobe". It was a simple book to read yet it kept me gripped. The sacrifice of Aslan reminded me of Jesus. How are we deserving of that, us wretched creatures? Yet, God demonstrated his great love for us on that cross to redeem us, to cleanse us and to reunite us with Him! Read the chronicles of Narnia if you are in between books now, you won't be disappointed.
Anyway, for those who are wondering about SU - I didn't speak to him today. Was horrified when I opened up my mail this morning. Him sending an email on my behalf and giving the inaccurate info! Had to do damage control and sent out a proper email. bLAH. I asked him why he couldn't call me on my cellphone to check before he acted on my behalf??
On to something happier, we had our monthly department birthday celebration feast today!! :) LOTS of food! It was a buffet! We had fried noodles, fruit tarts, buffalo wings, curry puffs, har gow, tao suan, cake, fruit punch etc... yummy! oh, food glorious food. Ate to our hearts' content :)~~ oiishi desu ne! I feel fat even talking about it! haha
