Soccer Fever!
I really ought to be sleeping now, but alas the soccer fever has caught up with me. Am waiting for the finals of the euro2004!! I would have really wished for the Czech Republic to play this finals though.
Its 2.19am now, and I told my mum that I hope Portugal will win 1-0 at least. Well, we shall see!
The weekend had been a rather eventful one for me. I started french class on Sat at the Alliance Francaise. There were about 18 of us in the class. My french teacher's called Yannick. I swear he speaks English with a Singlish twang in it! Haha, guess he's probably been in Singapore for some time. Bonjour! Je suis Singapourienne et je m'apelle Sharon.
After class, I met Pam at PS for dinner. We gorged ourselves at Thai Express. It was rather tempting to have the Fresh mango with glutinous rice (after the whole array of food we had) but we resisted! That, btw is really yummy - you should try it next time you swing by Thai Express :) Intially, we were hoping initially to catch Spiderman2 but the movie crowds were just impossible. Should have booked tickets online earlier! Ah well.
Movie no-go, we ended up shopping. I went crazy at Times bookshop. Bought the "Chronicles of Narnia" by C S Lewis and "The curious incident of the dog in the night time" by Mark Haddon. Can't wait to start reading! :)
