Colours
Blues - Monday, serendity
Green - Eyed monstor, tranquility
Red - Anger, some says passion
Yellow - Dirty fella
Black - Grumpy face
White - Angelic
What else?? "Green green, yellow yellow?" (ring ring, hello hello) LOL I'm full of crap.
Mondays are always dreadful after a good weekend. bLAH. To chase these blues away, I had a rather scrumptious lunch at Secret Recipes in Suntec, this little quaint cafe opposite Carrefour. Had a yummy lamb stew and a raspberry cheesecake, all washed down with an icy glass of coke. Heh. Swear I could have eaten more cake if I wasn't that bloated. :)~~
Talking about cakes, I kinda miss baking. Used to bake on a regular basis when I was in Sydney, baklava, cheesecake, brownies, choc cookies, shepherd's pie, almond cookies etc.. Baking was a form of stress relief especially during exams time. Its quite therapeutic to beat those dough and smash the butter when your brain's all bursting with facts and theories. :) And oh, cooking was fun too. I remember how I used to make dinner lists of what I intend to cook for the week, buy groceries, marinate the food in advance and I also miss having friends over at my place and doing a pot-luck dinner. These days, with work and mum spoiling me with her cooking, I hardly step into the kitchen except to cook instant mee! Sounds terrible. Maybe I should try cooking this weekend. Maybe chicken stew. Yums.
