une note d'amour

So I was walking into the office today and dragging my lazy body to my workstation.

Plonked myself onto the chair, turned on my PC, opened up the drawer and threw in my bag, positioned my handphone into the piggy handphone holder. Glanced at the pile of paperwork on my in-tray.

Hardly exciting!

And then, I saw this!

Woah! Do I have a secret admirer or what?! :D

So I decided to text the baby who was having his lunch.

S: Did you leave a I love you note on my table?
K: Ha! Ha! Ha! Muack!
S: You ah! Muacks
K: Hee! Hee! Guess when!
S: Morning? When you came to the audi? Eh or last Friday?

Turned out he scribbed it on my note pad on Friday when he was waiting for me to leave work.

So sneaky! ;)

Oh yes my weekend - I wanted to blog about it but I was way too tired.

Saturday -

I had my French class in the afternoon as usual. Its more challenging now in the intermediate class. We are doing more conversational skills and my professeur even wants us to write a mock dialogure between Forrest Gump and his mother for a drama presentation next week... all in French! That would be interesting!

Sweetie picked me up after class and we went to Far East Shopping Centre to look at golf clubs. I wanted to get a second hand club (probably a 7) for my practice. Didn't manage to get a 7 and we bought a brand new 6 at 30 bucks.. :)

Then we hurried home as his parents needed the car to go for a function. We stayed home and couch-potatoed in front of the television. We watched "A Fallen Idol" on Channel News Asia. Highly entertaining! After the show, we went to the kopitiam to eat the famous prawn noodles and then trotted off to Cold Storage to get some groceries (and ice cream!) Yums.

Sunday -

I went for my golf lessons in the late afternoon. What was meant to be an hour's lessons dragged to 2 1/2 hours. I didn't mind the extended hours if I didn't have to rush to a wedding dinner. I got home at 8.15pm and dashed out of the house at 8.30pm. Was late for the dinner when I got there at 9pm.. good thing they were only starting to serve the third dish...

I was completely flat out by the time I got home at 12 after the dinner. And yeah, I knocked out.

(Hmm, I realised my entries of late are mostly very descriptional and mundane - i.e what I do and eat. Hah. Then again, its the little things like these that form the pieces of my memory jigsaw)
