Le weekend

Oh yippee, the weekend is here! Oh wonderful marvellous weekend! :)

I kickstarted the weekend with some purchases from my fave make up/skincare brand and a swanky CD! Bridget the Ipod is happy too cause she's going to get new feed.. hee

Next on the agneda...

Going for a BBQ tomorrow at a friend's place and Pam's housewarming on Sunday!

Updates

Ok I've been extremely lazy in updating my blog. So here's a little snapshot of what I have been up to lately:

Attended Pam and Adrian's wedding. Was one of the Jie-Meis and Official Ang-Pows Guard as they moved from place to place for the traditional Chinese tea ceremony. I held on to the Ang-Pows with my dear life.... never left it out of my sight except when I had to go to the bathroom and found someone to entrust the bag with. It was a heavy responsibility and looking back, its a nice feeling that Pam made me the guard.. she must have thought I was a responsible person.. hehe :D

When she told me how much $$ I was holding in the bag the day after, I told her jokingly that I should have absconded with her bag.. ;)

Got myself a PINK nintendo DSI lite which I named Tara Pinkie. Shaun was in US for work and he very kindly got that for me. Got myself hooked on the Super Mario game and I completed the game and saved Princess Peach within a week! Now I'm itching to buy another game, Dinner Dash or The SIMS perhaps? :)

TWO theatrical productions await in July. Asian Boys III with Fang and Dim Sum Dollies with BF. Can hardly wait!! Cost a mini bomb with Cat A tickets for both but I rather get the best seats then getting otherwise...

On a different happier note, my savings are looking rather healthy these days. I am flabbergasted at my own discipline... :)

Musing - Friends

Why do we need friends?

To fill up a void in our lives? For companionship? To do silly and nonsensical things together? To cry and laugh together? To curse and swear together? To babble till the cows come home or when pigs do actually fly?

I got off work at 10pm earlier and as I made my way to the train station, my mind was boggled with a burning question. Its not exactly a question with an available perfect answer. Its all about perspectives I reckon. I took out my mobile, thinking to myself that admist the hundreds of contacts I have, surely I can find a few to pose my boggling question to get some good advice.

So I began scrolling from "A" and I couldn't find a name to send my text message to till "T" ...

Sigh.

If only dogs could talk. I know they hear me but I like a two-way communication at times.
